Isro is preparing to launch Brazil's Amazonia-1 satellite with PSLV in august this year
the Indian space research organization ISRO is gearing up to lift off Brazil's Amazonia-1 satellite next month onboard the polar satellite next month onboard the polar satellite (PSLV)
Brazil has confirmed the launch of satellite with the help of India.the date is not confirmed yet.
the image is provided by Amazonia-1 will help in observing and monitoring the deforestation of the amazons region,the report adds.the satellite has gained special importance in wake of recent fires in the amazon
India and Brazil signed a framework agreement for cooperation in the field of outer space in January 2004.
these two countries has also signed an agreement on cooperation to alter a Brazilian earth station to Receive and progress data from the Indian sensing satellites(IRS) series
The Amazonia-1 is not only a one satellite,it's among the 36 satellite missions ISRO has planned over next two years,according to a central govt report in march this year.these will include mission like chandrayaan-3(a moon lander) and an uncrewed missions for gaganyan,India's maiden human spaceflight mission planned for 2021/22
